For a cosy stay...

We are ideally situated for exploring the county of Somerset.

WEF Accommodation is surrounded by lovely towns and stunning countryside, we are a great location for discovering the wildlife, especially starling murmuration's during the winter.

Our property can be found on the outskirts of a small village on the edge of the beautiful Somerset Levels.

Grade 2 listed, the former farmhouse is set out as a traditional Somerset longhouse, it has all the wonky walls and uneven floors you might expect in a house build in the 1600's.

The garden and paddock look over lovely fields, the old milking parlour which is fairly well-preserved is in situ in the garden.

We have some lovely countryside walks and cycling routes, alternatively quietly meander to the larger villages of Wedmore or Mark. Take a stroll down the road for a spot of birdwatching on the Somerset levels.

The Mendip hills, Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells and Somerset coastline are only a short 20 minute drive away. The M5, A38 and the train station of Highbridge and Burnham are a 10 minute drive.

There are two locations in Blackford which sell local essential food produce. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with us or follow us on our Instagram and Facebook for regular updates about our BnB.

Come and relax at our perfectly situated rural retreat!

A lovely place to stay. A beautiful Shepherd’s Hut surrounded by fields. Really peaceful area. The hut itself was really nicely presented and clean. The outdoor seating area was really nice to have and we were pleased it was private. Great communication from Jane and the baking we arrived to was a lovely touch. A really peaceful, relaxing night away.

Beautiful and genuine is this little getaway… Jane is a maverick with how much she offers and the environment speaks for itself (as do the lambs!). Will definitely come back as there was still so much to explore in the area. If you like unique, earthy, and detailed stays, then this is worth booking!

I had a lovely stay at Huberts. It was a last minute booking but everything was ready and I was made to feel very welcome. The room was unique in style, spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated, with some thoughtful touches. Breakfast was delicious and the surrounding gardens are lovely. Well located to explore the surrounding area. Jane the host was so accommodating when I needed to leave early in the morning. Thoroughly recommend.
